Meet the pack
I am a Dog Behaviourist and trainer, based in Leicestershire, offering dog behaviour courses, for aggressive and anious dogs, basic dog training and puppy training classes.
I have a wealth of experience with many different breeds and I own and have previously owned a number of different breeds of dogs! My current pack includes Buzz & Amber my Boxers, George my Bullmastiff , Harry and Ida my Rottweilers.
Because my dogs are all well trained (and very happy!) we are able to take them anywhere! We never go abroad so they are always a very big part of our holidays. They are always welcome at the pub!
We spend a lot of time walking in Derbyshire and livestock is common place up there. They are off lead most of the time but they are always within a few metres away. They don't feel the need to run off as we all walk together.
From the moment they arrive with us as puppies, we practise exposing them to everything so it becomes a normal part of their lives.
Zac was my first Rottweiler (he was the ‘daddy’ of my pack) we lost him in February 2019 quite suddenly. He was my soulmate I miss him so much as he was such a big part of our lives. He loved water, to paddle and swim in the sea. He also enjoyed weekly sessions of hydrotherapy as do the rest of the pack.
I have also had four other Boxers who are no longer with us, Dylan and Jade and Meg and Zoe. Their pictures are still included here, and they are missed every day.
Growing up I was surrounded by many other breeds of dogs including Terriers, Working pointers, Springer spaniels, French Bulldog, Miniture Wirehaired Dachshund and a poodle.
Resembling the Yorkshire Moors, Bradgate Park is located in the stunning Charnwood Forest, Leicestershire. The park lies between the villages of Cropston, Woodhouse Eves, Newtown Linford and Anstey. It covers 850 acres and is one of the oldest deer parks in the U.K. It is also a site of Special Scientific Interest, which has been designated under both biological and geological criteria.
Here, your dog will get plenty of socialisation and exposure to many distractions such as deer, other dogs, people, children and more. We also have a very busy tearoom, land rovers and large farm vehicles passing through the park. We even see ducks and swans sometimes!
My aim is to build up your confidence and help you to deal with situations you once would of avoided.
This varied environment helps me and you, to train your dog during your Two Day Intensive Training Course.
